Part XVIII | Purple Ballroom | White Castle Mystery

Later that night in the Castle Ballroom...

Sapphire watched from a pedestal as Ruby flew around the room with a small group of hummingbirds that looked just like her. A girl with a Blue Cloak arrived bearing elixirs, but Malachite's elixir cabinet had been broken into and the culprit was nowhere to be found.

All of a sudden, Levi and Zoe burst through the front doors of the Purple Ballroom, only to find a handful of dropped elixirs and a few startled party guests. A small, furry creature ran into the ballroom at the same time, but no one paid much attention.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Dziko, a young woman in a flaming red and orange dress asked Levi.

"We are searching for a Wheel-Turning King." Levi responded

"Who is this?" Dziko pointed at Zoe with her totem staff.

"This is Zoe and my name is Levi." Levi introduced themselves and they bowed politely.

"Where do you come from?" Azura asked as she stepped carefully down the stairs and approached the Pink Pearl swirling around in the middle of the ballroom.

"We came here looking for a Gold Wheel-Turning King." Levi explained.

"And we are here instead?" asked Allene, a tall fairy with white hair.

"Yes." Zoe stepped a little closer to the spilled elixirs on the floor. "We have not found a Wheel-Turning King of any kind, and have only discovered quite by accident, a thief in search of these elixirs."

Levi stepped closer to Allene and asked, "What do you know about the Purple Dragon?"

Aquene replied as she grabbed her Purple Scepter from the wall, "We don't know what happened to the Purple Dragon. We are here to make elixirs of our own."

Azura agreed. "Yes, that's right. The Wizard must have let you in and it seems that Malachite was disturbed at his post. Why don't the two of you get some rest and we'll wake you in the morning."
